Blindly and drunkenly flailing
Some government advisor had a bit of a kicking from the drunkard british population today.
Liam Donaldson went public with his advice that children under 15 shouldn’t be given alcohol, even in controlled amounts within the family.
His reasons were based on medical science – he argues that alcohol isn’t the best brain food for growing brains – is that really a stretch to believe?
Anyway the loons are out to kill him.
Apparently this advice is now considered “legislation” by the befugged populace.
How about this missive?
More legislation from the over-zealous nanny state in the UK, as they reduce us all to the lowest common denominator and further remove our rights to make decisions based on common sense and judgement. As with every other stupid piece of legislation that Labour have introduced since 1997, just how are they going to police this? Random breath testing of children in the home, perhaps? And where will the funds come from to pay for it? Simply ridiculous. Glad I left the UK.
A: Not “legislation” but “advice”.
B: Common sense is rarely sensible and not at all common.
C: You don’t need to police “advice”.
D: You don’t need funds to pay for non-existant policing.
E: It would be ridiculous if it wasn’t a ludicrous strawman argument.
F: Glad you left the UK, we have enough dicks here already.
I mean really!
