Only £40? About a month ago, when we thought J’s car wasn’t going to pull through and start again, we phoned a couple of breakers and they said scrap value was around £150
Prices may vary from location to location, and month on month…
I’m taking the risk today that the cost to get my car through its MOT will be more than I’ll be able to sell it for. If I could be certain that I’d be able to get a new one before the 24th I’d have scrapped it, but I plan on taking my time over getting a good deal.
I could have told you that, My Dad works in the scrap metal industry these days and the cost of scrap has fallen by about 85% in the last 4 months from what he was saying.
What you up to tomorrow? I’ve got a day off work and I know you are still on enforced sickleave.
