Bad name
I’ve just had to switch the radio off mid-interview.
I didn’t think that the presenter was going to maintain a straight face in a serious interview; and I’m damned sure I couldn’t.
She was doing a thing on stem cell research and interviewing a scientist and a catholic labour MP. Can’t remember the MP’s full name but the scientist was a certain “Stephen Minger”.
You could just hear the titter in her voice as she said it. To not help further the MP’s first name was Stephen so she had to use surnames when asking questions. I had to look away.
But at least the MP involved wasn’t Ed Balls.
