EARRRRTH—SHAKERRRRRR!
Well there’s a thing.
Since living in Leicester I’ve felt 2 earthquakes. First one was a minor little thing that I thought was just a big lorry driving past the house.
But last night’s was a different order of event. I woke up around 1am to what I can only describe as a subtle roar. The bed was shaking, the radiators rattled noisily and I really thought the house was collapsing. The other thing was that the rattles and bumps continued for a decent while afterwards.
Took me a good hour to get back to sleep too.
Coo a proper earthquake (5.2 counts in my book). That’s one more experience to tick off the list.
