Round and round
I like to ride my bicycle. I like to ride my bike.
It’s true and the weather this summer has been so awful that not enough has been done this year. To remedy this me and Clurb packed our bikes into the car and headed for Rutland Water. It’s quite a distance round the lake for unprepared and unpractised cyclists like us.
Lovely weather and reasonably flat roads (most of the time) led to a nice little trip out.
The population of Leicestershire did all seem to be there though so at times it was more than a little crowded and people really do need to keep more control of their kids when bikes are whizzing past. Oh and while I’m at it; cycling 2 abreast on a path with no space to pass isn’t a great idea either. Please don’t do it and then get grumpy when people want to pass you ‘cos you’re going at a snail’s pace.
We also discovered that cattle grids are fun to cycle over.
Must do summat silimar again.
Have fun.

I think it’d be even more fun if all of us went in a big giggly gaggle and took a picnic.
But I suppose that’s just me being a girl.
