Mwow mwow
Visitors did come and visit. And it was good.
Rebecca and Matt showed up at my place. The first stop of their week long tour of England. Sadly they turned up very late on Saturday so I had the rest of Sat to get out of the way first.
Luckily P and C were up for a bike ride. One surprise was P on 2 wheels rather than his Coker but never mind. So off to D’s which is mainly uphill and a good 7 miles or so. Clurb has never been on such a ride so bless her she struggled a touch and was a little red at the end of the ride. All that way to find D sitting on a dining chair in the middle of his lounge playing Asteroids. All that money and finery and he was playing asteroids! What’s going on there then?
Coming back was great ‘cos we just freewheeled it most of the way. Lovely. Then for BBQ later which D had to supply literally everything for since P and C are pretty much all boxed up ready to move. Nyum.
Sunday me, Rebecca and Matt wandered for a decent walk along the canal to Watermead Park which took us a good 90 minutes and then to’t pub. Where P and C turned up (late again) and we did share an variety of good ales and C’s hideous manky one (which did have porn on the label so she wasn’t too disappointed).
From there to Thai place Clurb mentioned a while back for very nice food except for Rebecca’s soily prawns. We didn’t order desserts. Not never gonna order no desserts (from a thai place). Oh and Clurb got a bit racist by giggling at the funny words they call their food. Suk Dong Kok was the best one and had her in peals of giggling.
And wandered home to sleep. And I did sleep well indeed.
So back at work now and busy.
