Crappy Monday

I’m hating today. 

1. Poor sleep after a screwed up weekend of sleep so I’m knackered to start with.
2. Crappy weather.
3. First patient shows up, no notes in my drawer.  Search drawer thoroughly and no luck.  Search again and still no luck.  Patient waiting.  Seen patient lots of times so need notes!  After 10 minutes the patient then tells me that they failed to attend their last session, in April!  That means she’s been discharged. So to the discharged notes drawer.  Have to search that as there are loads of people discharged (6 months worth in fact).  So a waste of 10 minutes of the session.
4. Plus she’d been discharged so shouldn’t have been back without a new referral.
5. She didn’t have a new referral.
6. Another patient is due for his first appointment today.  No referral in the drawer and no front sheet (name, address and similar stuff). 
7. Admin lady is not in today to get me a new one.  We can’t do one from the clinician’s system ‘cos admin do them.
8. I’m used to working on my own but I have a new colleague here this morning.  Nice chap but I’m in a “leave me alone” and “shut up” kind of mood.
9. And he will insist on talking to his patients.
10. Just to spite me (prolly).
11. And this bloody site is not updating properly now!!!!!  I wrote this ages ago and it’s still not coming up on the main screen like it should.  What the *&^%*^%$&^ is going on with this bloody site? 

Mind you juggling tonight so something to look forward to.  Might have to have fish and chips for lunch ‘n’all.
